Carol S. Pearson received her Ph.D. from Rice University in 1970. She is the author of seven books, including The Female Hero in American and British Literature; The Hero Within: Six Archetypes We Live By; Awakening the Heroes Within: Twelve Archetypes to Help Us Find Ourselves and Transform Our World;
Magic at Work; Camelot, Creative Leadership, and Everyday Miracles.

Dr. Pearson's professional history combines administrative experience with research and teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels at several universities and colleges. She is now in private practice helping individuals, groups and organizations achieve their heroic potential.
