Jack Canfield is the CEO of Self-Esteem Seminars in Santa Barbara, CA, and Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Self-Esteem in Culver City, CA.  He was appointed in 1987 by the California Legislature to the historic California Task Force to promote Self-Esteem and Personal and Social Responsibility and was a co-founder of the National Association for Self-Esteem.  Jack has conducted intensive personal and professional development seminars for over 750,000 people worldwide.  He has spoken to hundreds of thousands of others at numerous conferences and conventions and has been seen by millions on television shows such as "Oprah Winfrey", "The Today Show", "America's Talking AM", "The Carol & Marilyn Show", "20/20", "Eye to Eye", CNN's "Talk Back Live!", "The John Bradshaw show", "Home Team with Terry Bradshaw."  PBS, the BBC, QVC, Home Shopping Network and the "NBC and CBS Nightly News" shows.

His publications include 21 books (including the best-selling Chicken Soup for the Soul series with at least two books on the New York Times best-seller list every week for the last three years, The Aladdin Factor, Dare to Win, Heart at Work and 101 Ways to Develop Self-Esteem and Personal Responsibility in the Classroom); 17 audio programs including Career Track's six-cassette Self Esteem and Peak Performance with over 360,000 albums sold and Nightingale- Conant's How to Build High Self-Esteem with over 100,000 albums sold; 5 video- cassette programs, now with over 200,000 welfare recipients and people-at-risk in 25 states having participated in this motivational success program over the last eight years and the STAR Program, a three-day training built around seven hours of video featuring Jack.  This video-based training program has been purchased by AT&T, Bell Atlantic, GE Capital, Monogram Bank, PEMCO, Boston University, Capital Bank and numerous other Fortune 500 Companies.  The course is also offered regularly by the American Management Association.
